Learning for Life

Ycommunicate.com worked closely with a number of Community Care Access Centres in Ontario (Peel, North Simcoe Muskoka, York, East York and Waterloo) to develop this unique E-Learning Pilot Project. The project involved developing a series of standardized. E-Learning modules that would address on-going, practical learning objectives that each organization had in common. This also provided an opportunity to standardize knowledge in each area to ensure the consistent delivery of information across all Community Care Access Centres in Ontario.

Each module is designed to be about 45 - 60 minutes in length and remain accessible to all CCAC staff at Home and in the office. The modules are designed to work independently or as a curriculum.

The current modules include:

  • A Safe Approach to Home Visiting
  • Office Ergonomics
  • WHMIS
  • Health & Safety
  • Orientation to Privacy.
